I am absolutely NOT in favor of low-income housing. Let that happen in Dublin or somewhere else. I have lived here for 40 years and have enjoyed a low crime rate and the open spaces. The City Council wants to build more apartment buildings. This means the State mandate for a certain percentage to be low-income housing will automatically be met. Please! Let that be Dublin. Fashion San Ramon more after Danville than Dublin.

We moved here 12 years ago and love the diversity, schools and open spaces/parks that make San Ramon the exceptional community that it is. One priority I hope you share is the need for low income housing that enables people of all socio-economic backgrounds to share and participate in the great things are community has to offer.

We have lived in San Ramon for 39+ years. While we share your family values and vision, we’d like to know your specific plans for bike and pedestrian safety, and open space preservation. I hope that you will support a joint bike and pedestrian bridge ( a nondescript bridge is mentioned in the Mehran’s housing development plan). Really hoping to see it built and ready for use in my lifetime. I look forward to your reply. Thank you.
